Trust the Struggle

“Going by my past journey, I am not certain where life will take me, what turns and twists will happen; nobody knows where they will end up. As life changes direction, I’ll flow with it.” – Katrina Kaif

Life is a beautiful experience, filled with ups and downs. Much like a roller coaster ride.

During these times of distress, it is important to make time for yourself.

You must make yourself a priority and commit to working on yourself.

Become obsessed with self-development and feed your mind with positive affirmations.

Tell yourself you will be great!

Use affirmations like:

  • I am open to change and opportunity.
  • I am worthy.
  • I have all the power I need.
  • I make my dreams my reality.
  • I give my unique gifts to the world.
  • I contain multitudes.
  • I will be my own best advocate.
  • I have the strength to succeed.
  • I am the author of my own destiny.
  • I am responsible for my own happiness.
  • I give and receive love each day.
  • I will triumph over all challenges.
  • I have the power to choose.
  • To take care of others, I need to take care of myself.
  • I believe in myself.

It is inevitable that you will face challenges in life. There are going to be times when you feel like giving up and feel extremely dissatisfied with life.

It’s easy to fall into the thought pattern of “I am not good enough.”, “I’ll never be successful.”, “Nothing ever works out for me.”

These are toxic thoughts and are self-destructive.

Understand and recognize that your mind is a powerful tool.

You can reprogram your beliefs and thought patterns to benefit your own self-transformation.

Exclude yourself from drama or negativity and surround yourself with uplifting people who inspire and encourage growth.

Above all, believe in yourself and your dreams. Stand firmly for what you believe in. Stand your ground and set boundaries.

If you believe you have a problem, take action to find a solution!

Be a solutionary!

Who is a Solutionary? A solutionary is an individual, group, or organization who chooses to be a part of the world’s solutions.

“Someone who finds revolutionary answers to life problems. A problem solver, an inventive activist. A type of revolutionary who makes change by providing a better way to do things.” Sourced from urban dictionary

You cannot grow without struggle, you cannot develop strength without resistance. Pain is your friend. Maybe not in the moment, but for the long-term benefit evolution of our soul.

Let go of past judgements, experiences, and memories that have created pain. Accept what you cannot change and learn from the lesson that was presented to you.

Find Your Why

Have a clear vision for what you do want!

A stronger you, is a better you. You have the power. Take control. Take responsibility. Believe in yourself.

Go on adventures to find yourself and never be afraid to leave your comfort zone.

I encourage you to discover more about yourself by travelling to new places and meeting new people. Explore the unknown and take the road less traveled.

Engage in meaningful conversation, read a book, read an article online, write poetry, eat ‘real’ food, stay hydrated, exercise, meditate, discover your passion, practice mindfulness, play, experience, and grow!

Challenge = Growth

If it doesn’t challenge you, it doesnt change you.

Keep going and keep growing! Struggle makes you stronger.

Change is the only constant.

When we live habitually and do the same routine daily, we become very comfortable with what we have and what we know.

Life can become stagnant.

Work hard and make no more excuses. Turn off your fear. Be fearless.

Is it going to be easy? No.

Is it going to be hard? Hell yeah.

Push through the pains. Face your demons, your fears, your limiting beliefs.

Your mind is powerful.

Don’t give up. Be relentless and do not resist.

Where there is a will, there’s a way!

You can have, be, and do anything.

You are a powerful creator and you are much stronger than you think.

Today, make the decision to give more attention to what’s going right in your life, rather than focusing on what is wrong.

You deserve more out of your life than problems.

Choose to take action and make things happen to create the life you want to live.

Embrace the ebb and flow to life and set sail with a positive outlook on the horizon.

“Believe you can and you’re halfway there.” – Theodore Roosevelt

Creation Vs. Consumption

Growing up in America, I can attest to the nonsensical consumption habits that the vast majority of the population engages in everyday. We love to shop and to buy ‘things.’

We are conditioned to consume throughout our lifetime. We are exposed to the news, eat out at restaurants, and purchase things we know we don’t need–but we want. Advertisers and marketers infiltrate the marketplace and do a really good job at what they do.

Their job is to sell you a product or to at least entice you to buy and try. And it works. Most of the advertisements are attempting to selling you happiness through purchasing the product they are promoting.

Did you know that marketers use color psychology to tap into your subconscious?

Happiness is a state of mind.

Have you ever wanted the newest generation of the iPhone? Bought it. Then a few hours, days, or maybe weeks later you realize you still aren’t satisfied or happy in life?

You thought that it would bring more fulfillment and happiness to your life. Now are left with feelings of dissatisfaction or perhaps slight depression.

Billboards, commercials, TV ads, YouTube ads, radio ads, etc. They are everywhere and can be extremely toxic as it is an influx of noise pollution.

They are distractions that move our focus to consumption and away from our desire to create.

We can all agree that we do it because it is convenient, comfortable and easy. Scrolling through news feeds doesn’t take much energy to do and it can be extremely relaxing.

There is a potential problem with this however. If we are not aware of how these things are affecting our way of thinking about ourselves and where we are at in life, it can be damaging to our psyche.

Consider this: If you follow pages of body builders or fashion models and are constantly viewing the profiles, you are consuming and storing this information in your brain whether you realize this or not.

Be aware of your self-talk during your indulgence of your social feeds.

Are you comparing yourself to this individual? Are you using this person as a role model?

If you are in a constant state of consumption and desire, you are limiting yourself from creating.

We were born to create! We have the free will and the freedom to express ourselves in whatever way we choose.

I encourage you to grow your awareness to how much you do consume from the environments you are surrounded by.

Reflect your role in being a consumer versus a creator. Put your money into things that add value, excitement, and fulfillment to your life.

What makes you feel alive and rejuvenated? Find that thing and do it everyday!

Create something, anything.

Write in a journal, draw a picture, create a garden, try a new recipe, write music or poetry, learn photography and videography, start a new project.

The possibilities are infinite. You are the only person holding yourself back.

“I am always doing things I can’t do. That’s how I get to do them.” -Pablo Picasso

Protect your mind. Make it a point to focus on thoughts of creativity and imagination. Find a balance and replace where you over-consume in your life and replace it by creating something.

You are the conscious choice-maker. Life is what you make it. Create the life you want to live and love the life you live.

Facing Fears

When we operate in a state of fear, we are limiting our potential of experiencing a life of greatness.

When we operate in a state of love, we have the power to create connection, community, and a sense of wholeness with one another.

It is important to be mindful of when you are living in a state of fear and to consciously shift to a loving mindset.

Fear is necessary to experience, it allows for growth and expansion. But it can also dominate your life,

By digging deep into our psyche and past conditionings, we can discover our true fears and face them.

There is no limit to what we can fear, just as there is no limit to what we can love.

Consciously choosing to view the world through loving eyes is a practice that I enjoy applying when I find myself in a state of fear.

Shifting my thought process through affirming that I am made of love, I am open to receiving love, and I want to share love.

Yes there is pain, hate, and anger in the world, but I firmly believe that the power of love can shift these energy drainers.

Face your greatest fears by challenging yourself to rise above with love.

You are not alone, we all face fears daily. It’s life. But it’s YOUR life and YOU have the power and the choice to create a life of your dreams.

When we are in love with what we are doing, living, and embracing in life that is when we will experience our greatest potential.

FEAR is False Evidence Appearing Real. The first time I heard this, my mind immediately shifted.

Our mind has created it!!! Fear is definitely a natural instinct that is necessary to experience, but it can definitely be a limiting factor when discovering your path of love.

We can reprogram ourselves to live a life in LOVE rather than FEAR. It takes time, commitment, and practice to transform yourself to embody unconditional love for all living things.

Love yourself always and keep your heart open to receive the love you deserve.

By challenging yourself to face your fears, you realize that it was simply a mind-block. Once this mind block is removed, you begin to see things differently.

A paradigm shift begins to occur in your mind and life becomes exciting again.

Today, tomorrow, and forever, I challenge you do more of what you love and forget that you are fear.

Believe you can achieve your greatest potential, it starts now.

Finding Meaning

I believe it’s important to feel passionate about something in life. Finding something to strive for, something that excites you first thing in the morning, something that gives you a sense of purpose.

If you haven’t yet found something that brings you fulfillment and makes your life meaningful, I encourage you to challenge yourself to make it your mission to find out.

You create life’s meaning. You create the reality you want to live in. It is in the present moment that you can consciously choose the lens with want to view life in.

  • What really matters to you?
  • What brings you joy or sense of fulfillment?
  • Which kinds of changes would you like to see in the world?

Once you have the answers to these questions, you will begin to recognize your own interests and passions.

Life isn’t perfect. It’s not meant to be. No matter what your story is from your childhood to adulthood, each moment we have the power to recreate that story!

You can adapt and change your ways of reacting to whatever extreme life brings. You have the answers and the power to create the change that is necessary for your spiritual growth. It is up to you to put these actions into practice to create the life you deserve.

You have so much potential, don’t be afraid to tap into it.

I believe it can happen and it starts with YOU, right here and right NOW.

Today’s Positive Quote:

“For the meaning of life differs from man to man, from day to day and from hour to hour. What matters, therefore, is not the meaning of life in general but rather the specific meaning of a person’s life at a given moment.” – Viktor E. Frankl

Frankl was the founder of logotherapy, the will to meaning and is most notable for the best-selling book Man’s Search for Meaning

Welcome to 2020!

It’s crazy to think about how much has happened over the last decade. More technology, more people, more destruction, more preservation, etc.

The ebb and flow of creation continues to unfold.

I remember envisioning the year 2020 as a kid in elementary school to be surrounded by flying cars, food created from a push of a button, and robots who do things for us.

I find it pretty entertaining to observe and understand the “future” we are actually living in now.

We do have the capability to “get” food at a click of button via our laptop or smart phone apps. And we basically do have “robotic-type” cars that can drive for us.

Let’s not forget about those fancy virtual reality goggles that can imitate an alternative reality.

Is this the future we really want to create for humans to survive in?

How can we actually sustain ourselves if we don’t know how to grow our own food or hunt for our own supply of protein?

I only ask these questions because I believe it’s important to face the reality we are living and reflect on our choice making collectively.

It starts with the individual and their day-to-day choice to consume or to create culture.

It’s nearly impossible to go a day without spending a dollar, but it’s not impossible to support your community with that dollar.

Give back to your community by supporting your local farmers (if there are any), purchase goods such as soaps, sauces, cheese, meats, etc. from people who have spent time to provide fresh, local, and quality resources.

It’s cheaper and tastes better! #Winning

“It Might Be Time” is an inspirational, groovy tune to welcome you to the new decade, 2020!!!

Wishing you all a year of abundant wealth, health, and happiness.

Blessings,

Brittany

You Have to Start Somewhere…

Talks of Life

There are times in your life when you are inspired to take a risk or try something new. I believe it’s extremely important to make these changes to challenge yourself and experiment with life. All too often people become comfortable with their way of living and do not look outside of their comfort zone for new opportunities.

I am extremely fascinated by the way humans have evolved and how different we are from one another. Technology has allowed us to learn about the vastness of the planet, countries, and cultures. Simultaneously we have disconnected ourselves from our true nature. By this, I mean that we are not living a life of authenticity or truth.

Many people are working jobs that they are not happy with and live a life that they are not proud of. I believe that everyone has the potential to use their mind as a tool for creating the life they want to live.

I am intrigued by people who are fearless and driven with ambition to co-create change. I have felt a calling to be a host of some form of platform that collaborates with people who are considered to be “outsiders”. People who are disrupting the norm of society in a positive way.

These radical individuals believe we can create an alternative way of living. The best part about it all, they are succeeding and proving to others that it can be possible. By reflecting their vision of what type of world they want to live in with peace, prosperity, and opportunity, they are indeed positively impacting the evolution of humanity one day at a time. It starts with the individual who consciously decides to make a change within.

I intend on interviewing people from all over the world who have an important message to share. More specifically, people who have discovered their passion with a purpose. Visionaries, solunationaries, changemakers, whatever you label or identify with.

If you have discovered something that you are truly passionate about and find value in the information you have learned, please share your voice with the world. We are the ones we have been waiting for and deserve to be heard.

I look forward to watching this community of change-makers grow. Your support is greatly appreciated and I hope you gain an abundance of knowledge and wisdom from this podcast.

With love,

Brittany Jacobs
